Population Connection at a Glance

(formerly Zero Population Growth)

Population Connection is America’s premier nonprofit environmental organization working to educate people about the impact of rapid population growth. Population Connection believes that by tackling global population growth, our nation can improve and sustain a better quality of life for everyone living here. Population Connection’s members work on problems as diverse as tackling wasteful overconsumption and curbing teen pregnancy. Its nationwide education and advocacy efforts include training teachers and state/federal legislative initiatives. Population Connection’s President is Pete H. Kostmayer, former U.S. Congressman and EPA Regional Administrator.
